All Is Well
I haven't posted to this blog in about a year. For those of you who care (the one person out there!), I am doing well.
I am very happily married, she didn't run away and my cold feet didn't get the best of me. I am still loving juicy fruit, and keep a pack on me at all times.
As to my wife, we've been married nearly 11 months, time really does fly. She talks every day about kids, kids and more kids. Scary.
Yeah, I really am getting old!

Time Ticks On...
Time is drawing nearer.
Who's idea was it to get married? Oh yes, it was mine. Cold feet, I thought it really wouldn't affect me much, but as each day passes, my nervousness increases.
Only two months remain, just two months left of being free. I have never been married before and I have no clue how it will really feel until I am actually married. A few years ago I thought I'd never find the right girl for me, I was wrong to say the least.
I am just ranting now though, too much stuff going on in my life at the moment. Just two months, wow.
Happy New Year 2007
I haven't really had the time to update this recently, hopefully this changes soon. As I said, a lot of stuff going on in my life.
Half asleep park ranger. I think I need some juicy fruit.
Thank you all for the kind emails you send me about my engagement, I really do appreciate them. I am sorry I do not reply to each and all of them.

Christmas Eve 2006!
I am very much looking forward to spending the holidays here at home. I feel as if this year has been very long, almost too long.
Hopefully Santa is good to you and yours, I'll be stuffing my face hopefully, I'm more interested in a very good meal and spending time with my family then anything else.
So from me to you, have a Merry Christmas.

My Engagement Part 2
Thank you for the kind emails of congratulations that I received. Anyhow let me finish off the details about my engagement. Now where was I...
So, she was just sitting there, looking beautiful with the orange glow of the sunset just amplifying her beauty. My heart was racing more then you can imagine, I thought it would be a bit easier on the nerves, nope, not in the least.
She turned and looked at me, and asked, 'Why are you staring at me?'. Hmmm, I couldn't think of any reason, other then what I had brought her out there in the first place. I very calmly said, 'There is something I want to ask you...'
The sun was near the horizon, everything had lined up perfectly for me. I had always debated on the 'do I want to be down on one knee' when I asked this question. Well, no, I was not. I sure wasn't going to stand up from sitting on a blanket, to being on one knee, it seemed a bit tacky at the time.
I reached deep into my pocket, pulled out the white velvet box with the engagment ring that I've spent many hours at the park working on paying off. She instantly had a huge surprised look on her face (in a good way, of course). I said to her, as sweet as I possibly could '[MS Juicy Fruiter] will you be my wife?'. Her eyes were already tearing up, she just whispered 'Yes', I have never seen her so happy, it was a huge load off my chest. I put the ring on her finger, she then gave me a big hug and a kiss and stared at her ring.
We watched the sun set and ate the food I prepared (it was good!). That pretty much wraps up how we got engaged.
March 25 2007 is our wedding date, she has been going nuts with wedding stuff for months now, I just nod and say, 'that looks nice'.
We've been together for years, heres to the rest of them.

My Engagement Part 1
Well, since I slacked on posting here to my beloved blog, I think some catch up is in order.
So it's time to catch up a bit!
I am currently engaged, I love her more then I care to admit, but this is pretty much anonymous, so here I can proclaim:
(soon to be)
Mrs. Juicy Fruiter I LOVE YOU!
So, how exactly did I turn her from being my girlfriend of (too) many years, to my bride-to-be you ask?
I did it in the park.
Yes, I know it sounds kind of tacky, especially since I spend so much time in the park, but in my mind, there was no better time to do it.
She really is a perfect match for me, she loves wildlife, loves the outdoors, love life, and best of all loves Juicy Fruit!
So, it was evening, the park was empty (I am glad it was), the sun had not gone down yet, (was in mid-june I finnally got the nerve to do this), and I had asked her the day prior to meet me in the park because I had some plans for us. I was waiting paitently for her (but knew if she came late it would ruin my plans!).
It seems as if luck was on my side, she arrived 20 minutes or so before sunset. Yep, you guessed it, I was going for a sunset proposal. So a minute or so after she arrives, I say, lets head out. It kind of caught her off guard, I usually don't leave the office so quickly on the days I ask her to swing by after work.
She asked me "So what do you have in store for me today?" I told her to hop in my Jeep and lets go for a ride, the sun still had a bit to go by the time I got to the spot. Just driving up to the clearing knowing what I was about to do was nerve wrecking.
So I hop out of the Jeep, open up the back, pull out a cooler that has been holding the food I had prepared mid-day in the tiny kitchen we have back at the office. I was glad to see that the food had held its heat in the cooler.
She was happy to see some food, as I knew she was starving, I grabbed a blanket from the back of the Jeep, walked up a bit farther on the ledge, placed the cooler on the ground and laid out the blanket. She immediately plopped down on it and started staring off towards the sun, she loves watching the sunset, she had absolutely no clue what I was about to do.
To be continued....

Wow!
Sorry to those (3) people who read my blog. I haven't posted in a very long time!
Alot of stuff has happened in my life, most importantly is my engagement to my beautiful fiancé, who I know would not be happy if I posted her name here!
Hopefully I get back to posting here, now that things have settled down.
